Haven't really posted in a while. its been hard to get a hang of this blogger thing. Fall is here! I absolutely am loving it. The cooler weather as well as alot of my friends being back in town. Will came home for a week in the middle of his field school months, he's been gone for 2 months and left today for another 3 weeks and its been hard on both of us. Unfortunately we fought a lot and honestly I'm glad that he's gone for another 3 weeks. It give me room to breathe and think. I've been telling people its over between me and Will for a while and I guess it finally is? I don't know but I'm still looking forward to him coming back home. I'm ready for a more serious relationship, I party a lot. I love partying but it gets so old doing this socialite routine. I wouldn't trade meeting lots of new people or having great experiences but I want something stable in my life. I want a future with someone, if not for forever but at least for a while. For some reason I thought that will was that person but we are so different. I guess we'll see I know better than to make any assumptions but I do need to just take care of myself right now too.

I'm having problems with weight loss recently. I think its just too much beer is being drank not enough water or exercise is going on. Its been driving me crazy that the eating less approach isn't working when it is normally all it takes for me. I'm still trying to lose these 15 pounds.

On a happier note i'm going to go take a walk enjoy the sun here in NC, there are a few people who want to meet for dinner and a few drinks at a outdoor place downtown and I couldn't think of a nicer day to do it on.

142 as of this morning

When I weigh myself its first thing in the morning, and I have post-its to keep myself on track and to sort of organise how much weight I need to lose.

Today I was bad and got a biscuit and hashbrowns at my local burger king, not a good idea seeing what my goal is also that I am attempting to go vegan.

The 21 day plan starts in about 4 days and i'm looking forward to it. Seeing how I am a broke college student I hope that I will be able to follow through with it and be able to buy the products that the plan is recommending. I live on a very tight budget at the moment and it makes it hard to eat let alone have a diet that is supposed to be full of fruits and veggies..... but we'll see how it goes. I do have several vegan student cookbooks laying around.


The rest of the day today I will be downing as much water as I can and trying to stay away from carbs.

I'm looking at this one website that says to pick the same few meals and eat them over and over again, which seems like it would be a good idea. Actually many other things on this one website had intresting ideas, I believe I will be trying this for a week and see how it goes.

He wrote a book too that seems like it would be really intresting to read, I need to keep it in mind.

the rules were -
  • Avoid white carbs, or anything that could be white
  • Eat the same meals over and over again (mix and match but keep it simple)
  • Don't drink your calories, diet sodas/coffee/unsweet tea are alright. just nothing with calories
  • Take off one day a week (Mine will be Saturday as well.)
I'll be able to follow this plan very well I believe, it seems do-able on a low budget.

I have a bunch of diferent sorts of beans and lentils
I have a bunch of tofu as well

I could pick up some more beans while i'm out today and this sounds perfect, vegan as well! Well thats my new plan for the next few weeks and i'll be posting my progress.

Weight loss so far

So i've been giving myself a pep-talk today and have decided to add this being a weight loss blog as well.


So I have lost about 38 pounds in the past year and I'm still working towards my goal of 120, as of this morning I weighed 142 and seeing how I've got a few months until it gets warmer again i'm going to do my best to work out and drop at least 12-15 pounds by april. Though it would be wonderful if it were more....

None of these pictures are particularly good but it does show the difference in weights
I've still got a flabby tummy and feel like I still have a long ways to go but i'm getting there! I need to get a better camera

Well first blog post! I love fashion, vegetarianism, new things mostly these will be my ranting. So I just signed up for this 21 day go vegan website which I am totally willing to try. I want to see the effect on my weight and my mood that will change. I remember when I was going vegetarian I just wanted to see how it would affect my mood and it was the most amazing feeling!

I adore fashion though, I feel like I don't have nearly enough clothes (as if my tiny bedroom could even fit any more!) I love fashion blogs and don't believe that you need money to have your own style. Coco chanel is probably my favorite designer.... I love the 40's style and the 1920's attitude of eccentricity

I'm also going to start meditating! A friend of mine keeps trying to get me to join this group and I can't wait, it seems like a great way to meet different people.

Also I'm trying to lose weight at the moment! Veganism would certainly help that out.....
